Mud Boys!

We had a beautiful sunny day a few weeks ago so I was planting our cucumbers and the boys made a mud hole for themselves. They boys named themselves the "Mud Boys"! I think that Jacoby ate more mud than he actually got on his face.

It was the most fun cleaning them off though! They never knew what hit them!

Heidi found some neat pictures that she had taken of the boys a while ago when they spent the night with her. They are very cute!

New Invention

Lance has been researching pitching machines and was reading on the internet about using a leaf blower as a pitching machine. So he used his shop vac and added a few PVC pipes and - voila - we have a pitching machine. It really does work well and the boys love it. The balls go a little too fast for Boaz but he connects with it some times. Jacoby can hit them pretty well and really enjoys it. This video is of Boaz hitting from the pitching machine.

We have also found other uses for it! All the neighbor kids (and dogs) enjoyed the "water balloon launcher 5000"

T-Ball Practice

The boys were able to have a practice game for T-Ball on Thursday. They really had a great time. They were so excited that they got their uniforms so they really enjoyed it. Click on the link to the photo album for pictures of their practice. It was actually a beautiful sunny afternoon which made it even better. We weren't freezing or getting rained on!



It is so cute because every time their team is in the outfield, they all think that when a ball is hit they all need to run for the ball and dog pile on top of the ball. They all want to be the one on the bottom of the pile that comes up with the ball. But while they are fighting over the ball the other team can just slowly walk to the bases.



They will be having 10 games during May and June at 6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They should be better by the end of the season! But until then they are having a great time!
